Stories are wonderful resources for learning languages and cultures. The meaningful use of language, patterns and illustrations all support learning. Using Book Creator and similar apps, students can easily write, illustrate and narrate their own projects. Here we provide a series of stories developed by NYU students & alumni, all teachers in Chinese programs. Most of these resources can be downloaded in iBook format, narrated for student read-alongs at home. Unit plans based on the stories, with suggestions for objectives, activities and projects, are also available.
