This test qualifies juniors for National Merit Scholarships
PSATs can be considered a practice test for the SATs. The nice thing about this test is that, unlike the SAT, test booklets are returned and scores are not reported to colleges. The score report lists which answers were correct and which were incorrect. This is a great learning tool that students can use to discover what areas need improvement before taking the SAT.

It is highly recommended that any student thinking about post secondary education take this exam. This will provide a "trial run" for the SAT.
2023 PSAT Score Release: 11/16/23
When PSAT scores become available online, students will get an email from the College Board with instructions on creating or logging into their College Board account, going to the online score portal, and using their access code to view their score report.
You can access your PSAT/NMSQT score report online to learn about college readiness, explore AP potential, and get insight into specific skills to focus on in order to prepare for the SAT. You can also link your College Board and Khan Academy accounts to access free, personalized SAT practice based on your PSAT/NMSQT results.
