Northwestern Lehigh High School has an agreement with several colleges (LCCC, Moravian, Kutztown, Penn State LV, Lehigh, and DeSales) which allow current high school students to take college while still in high school, usually at a reduced cost. Current eleventh and twelfth-grade students are able to take face-to-face college courses here at NWLHS, 100% online, or in person college courses (Off-Campus College Classes).
Benefits of Dual Enrollment:
Save time- earn transferable* college credits
*not all colleges will accept transfer credits, so it is important to research what dual enrollment credits will be accepted at your chosen post-secondary institution.
Use the links below to research the transferability of your Dual Enrollment courses
Save money - pay reduced tuition costs at LCCC
Experience the demands, pace, and rigor of a college course
Gain access to LCCC library, resources, services, and online databases
First-time dual enrollment students need to apply to LCCC. NOTE: This is required for students who have never taken a dual enrollment course or haven’t taken a course within the past year. An application is the required first step in the registration process. Without an active LCCC application, we are unable to process registrations. *Social Security number is required to complete the application. LCCC Academic Calendar
