Saturday Detention

Saturday Detention is an opportunity provided to students at the Northern Valley Regional High School Schools in lieu of suspension for certain infractions.  It is held from 8:00am to 12:30pm in a location within the building.  Parents will be notified if a student has met the criteria for a Saturday Detention.  An unexcused absence from Saturday Detention will result in further disciplinary action. Furthermore, an unexcused absence from Saturday Detention will result in a student being deemed ineligible for participation in extra/co-curricular activities on that day.  In the event of inclement weather or other emergency situations, the administration will communicate the status of Saturday Detention via email.
