Welcome! My Name is Kyle Templin and I am the Physical Education Teacher at Indian Springs Schools. I absolutely love teaching Physical Education to our youth. I have been teaching since 2007, 7 years in the Pacific Northwest and the rest with CCSD. Throughout my time involved with our youth I have taught and coached all ages from elementary to high school. I have coordinated community adaptive physical activity programs, I have coached wrestling, football, track and field, and elementary clubs such as Jump Rope Club, Dodgeball Club, Gaming Club, and Physical Activity Club.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I like to tour on my motorcycle, travel and explore new places, hike the local mountains, and find new places to fish. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest has taught me a lot about the great outdoors and how to appreciate the simple things that are right there in front of you. If I am not wondering the forest of Salt Lake City or floating down the rivers of Nevada, you can probably find me in my garage tinkering or building something out of wood.
It is my passion to pass on the knowledge and skills needed for youth today to be happy, healthy, and successful in all types movement forms. Whether kids are learning a new dance move, perfecting their throw, or learning the rules of a game, it is my goal to reach all students in a positive way to promote their physical growth and development.
