Shapes

This assignment was easy for me but also wasn't my favorite assignment. I realized while walking around that finding shapes was easy but actually taking that shape and making it a good photo was harder. I also notice how many squares and rectangles our school uses.

In the middle photo I used the top of the cone to show the rectangle and the two little circles. The rectangle is the main focal point in the photo and is so big the viewers feels like it can go through it and look beyond it.

In the photo to the left I used what I learned from the shadows assignment and what I know about shapes and found these shadows made different shapes with it. you can see the triangle as the focal point in the photo but looking closer you can see a square and also a long rectangle.

I took this photo in the upstairs H building right above nursing. I really liked this photo because of how the rectangle and cylinders look like they're floating in the photo.

In this photo I used the doors to the auto workshop to show the different squares and rectangles through out the photo. The focal point being the large door and then the eye moves through the photo.

In the photo to the right I turned the cone over because I noticed how the bottom of the cones was a hexagon. I lined up the photo between the lines of the rule of thirds. Leaving the last part of the photo negative space putting more emphasis on the cone.
