This assignment was particularly tricky because I had to chose which photos were best without any help. However, I found it easy to take pictures of shapes, considering the overwhelming amount of geometric shapes on campus. Overall, this assignment was fun and challenging.
This photo has a circle in the direct center and a triangle surrounding it. This creates a sense of balance since they are evenly distributed in the shot.
This picture uses various shapes to make the photo more interesting. There is a square directly in front of the camera framing the table, triangles on the ceiling, and rectangles on the background and floor.
This image has different sizes of squares with repetition and patterns. The focal point is the large square in the middle while the smaller squares fill the shot.
This image has square and rectangle boxes along the movement of the wall and background. The boxes have triangle shaped shadows that add depth.
This photo has an emphasis on the circle in the direct center and has a pattern of diamonds surrounding it. The picture is simple, but successfully focuses on the basic shapes through unity and repetition.
