This assignment was pretty easy for me to do. I only struggled to take pictures during times when there would be proper lighting. The assignment required me to manually change my camera settings to get proper exposure and color. Overall, I enjoyed this assignment and learned a lot more about the relationship of aperture and shutter speed with color and contrast in a picture.
This silhouette has good contrast and color. The sky has shades of yellow and blue which contrasts the dark gas station. There is also fine details created on the spikes on top of the gas station, making them look like they are glowing.
This shadow image displays the element of variety and has different textures and shapes from all of the objects' shadows. Additionally, there is movement from the left bottom corner, through the pillars, and straight to the door.
This silhouette has a strong, saddening mood. The also clouds look very detailed compared to the darkness of the house below. The picture has a focus on the bright spot in the top left and it almost looks like the clouds are moving.
