This assignment was much easier than "Basic Composition". I had trouble deciding on an object to focus my pictures on until I found inspiration from one of the benches in the courtyard. It was interesting to see how placing the camera in different angles and positions can drastically change a picture and make it more interesting.
This is a simple image of the bench, taken at about eye level. The picture shows the viewer the front of the bench which is the main focus point. The background is straight, but not too distracting.
This picture was taken above and behind the bench to give the viewer a different perspective. Additionally, the image displays horizontal rule of thirds and uses shadows to give a more interesting look.
This photo was taken from the side of the bench and guides the viewer to look toward the center. The colors in the background are vivid and the image overall shows a close, detailed portion of the bench.
