Shapes
This assignment was very easy for me to do because I took photos before that show shapes in previous assignments. I really liked this assignment because finding shapes at Southwest is easy but I also wanted to be as creative as possible because I wanted to show my artistic side. It was cool because I would find a generic photo that other people have taken but I changed it up by controlling what was in the frame and certain angles.
This photo is very geometrical and has a lot of repeating patterns in it. It also has this repeating ripple effect from the bottom right corner moving towards the top left one. It also has two varying patterns: the wave-like shadows and the straight lines
I really like this photo because the bright orange is a good contrast to the neutral tones the other pictures in this assignment have. It has a lot of variety because depending on how you look at each section, there are multiple different shapes.
This photo has a lot of variety and repeating patterns. The table has a lot of different shapes, but the shadows add even more to the picture. This photo also has a lot of repetition.
This photo has a lot varying shapes that is unified by the gray tones. It also has a cool repeating pattern on the left hand side and has a lot subjects in both foreground and background.
I really like this photo because the picture has a lot of texture and a lot of unique shapes that aren't present in the other photos in this assignment. The fence lies on the left line for the rule of thirds and creates a cool emphasis and focal point.
