Shadows and Silhouettes

This assignment was very hard for me to do. The shadows portion was very easy for me to do however, at SWCTA, our whole school surrounds the quad so it was very difficult to find silhouettes around the school because it was just trees and tops of buildings. It made me think creatively because I didn't want to take the same photos that others were taking. Even though this assignment was very hard, it taught me a lot of new things about photography.

I really like this photo because the basketball net has a cool geometric pattern to it. I also love the balance that the different shapes create. The different variety of shapes makes the photo very interesting. The focal point is the hoop which is directly in the middle of the photo.

I really like this photo because the pattern of the fence is broken up by a person's outline. The similar rectangles and squares adds a sense of unity to the photo. Also, the photo has an emphasis on the person in the photo

I really like this photo because the variety of shades adds a unique twist to a normal one-colored shadow photo. The positioning of the glasses gives the photo a sense of emphasis and your eye then starts to move to the shadow
