Phone Photography

This assignment was very fun to do. I found it very challenging that I couldn't change the aperture and shutter speed of my phone to get different effects. It was also hard to not be able to zoom in because the quality would be bad. It was very hard to get used to because you are so used to using a camera in this class that taking pictures with a phone was very different and challenging.

Backies

(Middle) This backie was my favorite because I love all of the different textures and shapes that are in the photo. The different stains of wood gave it a cool contrast and the different ridges had a scale-like pattern that made the photo "pop"

Foodies

(Middle) This photo of the fruit was one of my favorite shots because the sunlight gave it a cool emphasis. I love the different variety of colors and shapes. The pineapple also adds a new texture to the smooth shapes around it. The different patterns and shapes make this photo very interesting.

Selfies

(Middle) This photo I made sure that my arm wasn't in the photo. It was very easy to take these photos because the only requirement was to make sure you follow basic composition and make it look nice.

Friendies

(Middle) I love this photo of my dog Appa because this was one of the few times that he was sitting still. It has a cool angle because he's looking off to the side. Also, my dog Appa is super photogenic

Roomies

(Middle) This one is my favorite roomie photo because I love the color scheme of this room. It has a cool variety but it is very uniformed at time. It also has a lot of abstract shapes spread out to add contrast.
