空氣品質指標為依據監測資料將當日空氣中臭氧(O3)、細懸浮微粒(PM2.5)、懸浮微粒(PM10)、一氧化碳(CO)、二氧化硫(SO2)及二氧化氮(NO2)濃度等數值，以其對人體健康的影響程度，分別換算出不同污染物之副指標值，再以當日各副指標之最大值為該測站當日之空氣品質指標值(AQI)。

世界衛生組織近日正式承認氣膠（亦稱氣溶膠）傳播為COVID-19主要傳染途徑，美國CDC隨即也跟進修改防疫準則。鑑於本土疫情嚴峻，國立中山大學氣膠科學研究中心主任王家蓁疾呼社會大眾提高警覺，她強調，國外最新研究發現，口罩佩戴的密合度大幅影響阻絕病毒氣膠的效率，舉例而言，當口罩的空隙增加1%時，其對於小於2.5微米的氣膠微粒的阻絕效率將下降50%。面臨國內疫情嚴峻的時刻，她特別提醒社會大眾提高警覺，尤其注意佩戴口罩時的密合度，「一定要戴好戴滿」。

在20輛計程車頂燈上安裝監測儀，每三秒獲得PM2.5、PM10數據，生成空氣質量熱力圖，紅色為一般，黃色、淺紫色為良好，綠色為優秀。除了市生態環境局官網，市民還可以在其微信公眾號上查詢。

以往，城市空氣PM2.5、PM10數據一般來自監測站，其位置固定，數量較少，監測的是較大區域空氣質量的平均狀況，設備離地面約為15米~20米高。而裝在計程車頂燈里的監測儀高度與人呼吸的高度相近，可獲得更高密度的數據來反映局部空氣質量，與固定監測站形成點面結合，並通過多車接力實現24小時連續監測。

「空氣污染防制之探究與實作」 教案設計之發想與緣由及動機

    近年來由於空污議題日益受到重視並與健康息息相關且十二年國民基本教育新課綱，以核心素養為導向，強調跨域整合及探究與實作，因此選定「空氣污染防制之探究與實作」作為學生探究與生活有關的問題，並進行問題解決，期在過程中統整跨域知識(科學、技術、工程、美學、數學、社會/人文/生態/環境，STEAMS)，培養學生「科學探究」與「科技實作」能力，並引燃「終生學習」熱情、激發「動手實作」意念 、享受「解決問題」喜悅、實踐「生命出口」信念、體現「合作學習」真諦、感受「專題作品」成就、累積「人生歷程」智慧、感悟「正面積極」人生觀與使命感。
