Many issues in our world can be overlooked in this day in age. Many people can be uninformed about what is going on and may be unaware of how to help. The most common mistake people make is they think "It is not happening near me, so I can't do anything to help." That statement is incorrect based on the WeAreBamboo website and what their initiatives include.
WeAreBamboo is a great organization that works towards educating people and getting them involved in global issues. They focus on Animal Welfare, climate change, and plastic dependence. I find that the animal welfare program is super interesting and I would like to learn more about it. I think it is very cool the way they go about helping animals and making their habitats as perfect as possible. I think the way they go about making their retreats like a vacation would be very fun while also getting the opportunity of a lifetime.
I enjoyed going through the website and learning more about what this organization has to offer. I think it is important for us as global citizens to realize there are more opportunities to get involved than just giving money. Real-world experiences are a fun time and you get to do real good and make memories that can last a lifetime.
