Goal #1
I want to debunk some common myths for beginners in the gym/nutrition
Goal #2
I want to find a good podcast that really explains starting in the gym and share it with my audience.
Goal #3
I want to show people what gyms in the area are the best for beginners along with prices.
Goal #4
I would like to show the difference between athletic gyms and regular gyms and use 2 examples of one that s I have been to
I had a lot of fun with research this week. I completed the 4 goals above that I set out to complete. With goal #1, I felt it would be helpful for beginners in the early stages of working out to know the truth behind some common myths. I found ones that I was unsure of when I started and listed them out with the common misconception. I felt that for goal #2 I would find an expert to lay out a great podcast for gym-goers. The thing that made me pick the one I did was that he layed out the time slots so you can easily pick what part you want to listen to. Goal #4 was to make sure people that people know the difference between local gyms so they can pick the correct one for the goals they have. My 3rd goal and my biggest accomplishment for the week was making a list of the best local gyms for people to actually get to work and put their new knowledge of the gym to use. I think it will be the most important part of my project so far. My evidence for all 4 of my goals were Instagram posts and notes that can be found in my running google doc. One thing I could have improved upon is making the most out of my class time and not waiting until the last day to put all my posts up and maybe spread them out over the course of the two weeks.
