Goal 1:
In the gym, there is a thing called hypertrophy vs Hyperplaysia training and I am very interested in finding out when to do each and which one would benefit me more.
Goal 2:
My second goal is going to be to discover the best way to maximize time when physically in the gym. What is the most optimal amount of time to be there? How many days a week should you be in the gym to not overdo it and not underdo it.
Goal 3:
Goal is to see where people get their knowledge about working out from primarily. I would like to record an interview with someone to get a baseline of where their knowledge is at so I can use it to target the rest of my research.
Goal 4:
I want to also research how to optimize nutrition as well as work out. I think my evidence would be to put together a meal prep sheet or a diagram to see how much you should be eating, protein carbs, and that stuff
Goal 1: I was very interested in learning about Hypertrophy vs Hyperplasia. I took notes and did research (see google doc) to learn more about the topic. I then used canva to put together a graphic and upload my first Instagram post. The evidence for this is on my Instagram and google doc.
Goal 2: My second goal is something I personally wanted to learn because it would help me so I thought it would be great to share. Similar to goal 1 I did research about schedules, maximizing time, sets and reps, and recovery. I used this information to create my second Instagram post and share it on my account. The evidence for this is on my Instagram and google doc.
Goal 3: My third goal I think was my most creative. I wanted to get a sense for what my classmates know about the gym. I created a google form asking basic questions about fitness/ nutrition. I put the link on my Instgram story and in my Instagram Bio. This helped me get a sense of the demographic I am going to tailor my posts to. I shared the results of this poll on my Instagram. In a post.
Goal 4: This goal had to do with nutrition which I want to expand in the future. Based on poll results I found that everyone prioritizes protein in their diet. This worked out great because I had planned to share some facts about protein. I did my research in my google doc and used canva to make a post.

I think I did an okay job choosing my goals for the week. If i'm being honest I think I should have made the goals a little smaller. It was the first week and I was still trying to figure out what to do. This set of goals took me a full 2 weeks so I think next time I am going to simplify it a little. My biggest achievement of this plan was fully getting my Instagram set up with a logo, 4 posts and a survey. One way I can help myself with these goals is set them being things I really want to learn. Over these 2 weeks I have thought of more questions and goals I want to answer. I have also thought of ways to broaden my topic to research and share more topics within the fitness community. I am going to improve by making my goals smaller things and not just answer questions I have. Example: update my Instagram logo, gain more followers.
