History

The T-Cork website is a tool built by Tanner Corkins during the 2023-24 school year to help his classmates find important resources on the web. It is the successor to the "HR 210" website that I build for my homeroom in 7th grade. This site is only meant for community education purposes, so it fits within District policies. However, the North Pocono School District does not endorse, promote, or directly control any material on the site, so be aware of that. Anyway, in my 8th grade year, when this site was first published, it was viewed by students over 400 times! In fact, in late 2024, the site marked 1000 total visits! Many took advantage of their homeroom and study hall periods to check the website and see upcoming events, news, and more. The site has featured schedules, maps, news and weather, as well as other useful resources for students' benefit! It hasn't changed much since then, and I don't plan on making any drastic changes in the future, so here's to another 4 years of the T-Cork site!

Mission

As I said above, this site is intended only for community educaton purposes. I don't make any money for anything here, and neither does anyone else. My mission is to provide a hub for students looking to check the weather, calendar, schedule, or anything else to keep them up to date.

Who is T-Cork?

Tanner Corkins proudly serves his class as the current President of the Class of 2028. I also served as the North Pocono Middle School's Student Council President during the 2023-24 school year. I am very involved in my community, proudly volunteering often and being present at community and school events and fundraisers. My mohawk had been a staple in the community, although it was only around during the past few football seasons. I am committed, reliable, hard working, and some might say funny. I encourage everyone to get to know me not just as a leader, but as a friend. I played football for NP's freshman team, and I compete for NP's Science Olympiad team and Mathletes club in addition to my work here.
