The can drive will be conducted in morning foyer this week (11/12-11/15/24). Cans and other non-perishable food items should be dropped off to the tables in the foyer in exchange for spirit week points which many teachers accept as bonus points. We thank you for your generosity.
2 POINTS PER ITEM: Tuna, Soup, Canned Pasta, Oatmeal, Canned Fruit, Pasta Sauce, Pasta.
Most items will be 1 point each.
Small items are 1 point per 2 items (no half-points, must have 2.)
Ramen packets are 1 point per 4 packets (again no fractional points, must have 4.)
If you have a question on a point value, assume it is 1 point or contact Mr. Wilbur.
All nonperishable food items that are not damaged or expired will be accepted. Some items in higher need are listed on the flyer below. Highest need items are worth more points. See section above.
You can bring in items from home that you already have, or you can shop specifically for donations. Shopping for items ensures that they aren't expired or damaged, but may raise costs. Try to be cost and point-effective when shopping, buying cheap items that are worth 2 points each. We thank you for your generosity.
