The play King Lear by William Shakespeare details the tragic story of King Lear, a play that alines with the concepts of betrayal, power, family dynamics, etc. King Lear, throughout the space, losses all his power from his daughters Goneril and Regan and begins to lose insanity, in addition to other characters like Gloucester, who banishes his son Edgar for betrayal even though it was the manipulative Edmund who desires power. As the evil character tries to eliminate the good ones, each individual, in the end, dies.
