ALC is a specialist intervention based course primarily focussing on the enhancement of life skills and personal development. This is supplemented throughout the two year course with literacy and numeracy support in small group situations. There are many opportunities for enrichment activities and qualifications, which are delivered in practical environments in order to engage students and aid progression.
