Check out the free ‘Nature Passport’ app to explore dozens of outdoor play, exploration and learning activities. It is full of innovative nature-based games, crafty projects, simple experiments, and fresh inspiration for outdoor play.

The app is free and can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play Store.



The Sussex Wildlife Trust have teamed up with BHEE - Brighton & Hove Environmental Education, preparing fabulous weekly ‘Curriculum Ideas for Outdoor Home Learning’ bulletins with a wide range of ideas to support outdoor learning at home.

The Woodland Trust creates havens for wildlife by planting millions of trees every year, they campaign for new laws to protect ancient woodlands and restore damaged ancient woods so they can breathe again. Click on the Woodland Trust logo for simple, nature-based activities you can enjoy together at home or in your garden.

The woodland Trust also have a selection of excellent interactive resources and nature detective activities.



The free "iNaturalist app" is one of the worlds most popular nature apps. It helps you identify the plants and animals around you. You can connect with a community of over 400,000 scientists and naturalists who can help you learn more about the nature that you discover.

The app is free and can be downloaded from both the App Store and Google Play Store.



The 25 things to do in social isolation resource is brought to you by Nature Play WA – an Australian non-profit established to increase the time Western Australian children spend in unstructured play outdoors and in nature. Nature Play WA also lead the Outdoor Classroom Day movement in Australia.
