To use the following formulas accurately in this topic you need to know how to properly label your triangles. If the three side lengths of a triangle are "a", "b" and "c" then respectively the angles opposite those sides lengths will be "A", "B" and "C". The picture to the right illustrates what this will look like. Essentially a side length and the angle opposite it share the same letter - lower case for the side length, upper case for the angle.
