FCM's annual scholarship program for secondary school students began in 2010. It is meant to reward and inspire students who take on challenges and try to bring about change that benefits their peers and/or community.
Criteria:
The scholarship is open to young women/girls enrolled in secondary school (and CEGEP in Quebec) and who are contributing to their school's leadership team or student council.
Your submission must include the following elements.
In a 3 min video, tell us how you contribute to school activities related to student council or leadership.
Provide a written document with answers to the following questions. Each answer should be 300 words or less.
How do you contribute to your school's leadership?
How are you engaged in community activities?
Why is it important for women to participate in politics?

Schulich Leader Scholarships are the largest and most prestigious undergraduate Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) scholarships in Canada.
Criteria:
Achieves Academic Excellence
Exhibits leadership, creativity and charisma
Has a financial need (although not necessary, it is strongly considered)
Plans to pursue a career in one or more of the following focus areas: technology, engineering, entrepreneurship, and business enterprise, applied scientific research

Description:
The Alberta Blue Cross Scholarship for Indigenous Students is for students who have demonstrated community involvement and achievement of personal goals as well as shown financial need. Academic achievement will also be considered. This scholarship is for students who have recently completed their high school education and entering their first year of post-secondary study at an accredited institution.
Criteria:
Applicants are a member of a first nation or band, or have Inuit, Métis, or Indian Status as referenced on the Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada website.
Applicants must be enrolling in the first year of any full-time post-secondary certificate or diploma program of two or more years duration.
Applicants must clearly describe their community involvement, personal goals, and financial need.
Applicants must currently reside in Alberta and have been living here for the past 12 months.
Applicants must submit two reference letters for evaluation.
Applicants must be accepted to an accredited post-secondary institution.

We look forward to seeing what the next great minds bring to this ever-transforming industry, and want to do our part in assisting those great minds to achieve their goals and dreams. Whether you need to pay for your classes or textbooks, or just to put food on the table this semester, it’s yours to do with as you please. All you have to do to be considered for the scholarship is write an essay, no more than 500 words in length, telling us where you see the future of the energy industry.

Applicants:
must be enrolled in an American or Canadian post-secondary educational institution, or planning to enroll in such an institution within the following calendar year.
must submit a 500-word essay in English or French on a topic that falls within the parameters outlined on the application website.
must use scholarship funds for some education-related expenses, such as tuition, books, school fees, room and board, etc.
