Principal's Corner
We are approaching the part of the school year where spring fever begins to take hold. Please encourage your child to do their best each day. Attendance is very important. We need all of our students in attendance as much as possible. This nine weeks will have many activities that will take place, please make sure that you read below the information that is posted. Please put on your calendars our second wave of ATLAS Testing, May 7-9, it is just around the corner. Please take a look below at the dates and activities that are upcoming for our campus. TONIGHT is the PTA Community Conversations! We hope you are making plans to join in the discussion! See the graphic below for details!
The student council's CEREAL DRIVE benifitting Amboy Food Pantry has been extended. It will now end this Friday on May 3rd. Our goal is for every student and staff member to donate at least ONE BOX of cereal during our drive! If you can bring more, even better! If we do this we will be able to donate at least 600 boxes to stock their shelves! Cereal is something that greatly benefits the pantry, but something that they often run very low on in supply. How many boxes will you donate? We currently have less than 50 boxes, so please send a box this week!

7th Grade NLRMS Athletics Tryout Information
See below for information about upcoming tryout for 7th grade athletics. If you have any questions, please reach out the the coaches responsible for the teams. Please keep in mind that students MUST have a current physical (from their doctor) and a consent form (I will leave some in the office when they become available) in order to try out.
7/8 Girls Basketball Tryouts
Tryouts will be April 16th 3:30-5:30 in the 7th/8th grade gym.

Cross Country Tryouts
Cross Country Tryouts for upcoming 7/8 students will be on Wednesday, May 22 on the middle school track 3:30-4:15. Students must have their own transportation home after tryouts.

Wildcat 30 Day Magic Challenge
April 3rd through May 15th we are challenging our kids to do their best and be their best at all times! Our PBIS committee has come up with a fun challenge for our students to work towards that will earn them a super fun opportunity to experience an incredible magic show!
Please encourage your child to be at school EVERY DAY on time ready to learn! Encourage them to ROAR in the hallways, in class, and every where they go on campus! Teachers will be looking for opportunities to reward excellent behavior choices with CatCash each day to help students reach their goal!
There will also be a drawing for each team for an eligible student to win a prize! This is definitely an opportunity you don't want to miss out on!
