Common Questions:

  • I am writing an email, how do I insert the signature?

The signature and footer will be added when you send the message. They are not visible while you are writing the email.

  • Do I need to add a disclaimer footer to my signature?

No, the system will add an approved email footer to all emails going outside the NLESD system. Inside there is no need for a disclaimer.

  • Why can't I see the other person's signature (or my own)?

Gmail snips repetitive content to reduce the amount of scrolling you need to do. Signatures are frequently snipped. Click the snip button to expand the content and see the signature.

  • I want to put more in my signature. Can I?

Certainly. You can add additional contact information, images or quotes. Keep in mind that if your recipients need to print this will print as well. Shorter signatures help to reduce the paper used when emails are printed.
