This class is designed to be the first part of the introductory course to the Spanish language. Students will be able to carry out basic conversations, ask and answer questions, exchange knowledge and information, express likes and dislikes, and express needs and emotions. Grammar structures and complex vocabulary are out of this course. The main goal here is to build a block that encourages and prepares students for future fluency in the Spanish language. The textbook we will use is “Voces - Introductory Spanish”. This book is AP-oriented, which will gradually prepare the students to eventually take the exam in the future.

Students discuss the geography and climate of Mexico.
Students will learn clothing vocabulary.
Students will learn cognates.
Students will learn how to ask questions in Spanish.
