There seems to be a general correlation between height and footwear size. For instance, individuals with a height of 5'7" or more tend to have larger footwear sizes (UK 8-9), while those with heights around 5'2" have smaller sizes (UK 4-5).
There is variation in foot depth (both at the base and middle), with readings ranging from about 6 cm to 9 cm. The depth at the metatarsal shows a wide range, indicating differences in foot arch or flatness among individuals.
There is a positive correlation between height and footwear size, as well as between foot length and footwear size. These correlations could confirm that the taller the individual, the larger their feet, which aligns with common physical trends.
Differences between standing and sitting measurements could indicate how the foot changes shape under pressure, which is crucial for designing both comfortable and well-fitting footwear.
Significant differences in foot measurements are observed across different states, this could inform region-specific footwear production, catering to the specific needs of people in those areas.
