002_Introduction

About the Project 

This project was a part of the Design for Social Innovation (Systems Thinking Approach) module. The aim was to understand the interconnectedness of various domains within the system, identify an opportunity area and work on an intervention that can have larger impact on the system as a whole. 

The Overlooked Pillars of the Workforce 

Homeworkers, especially in the leather footwear sector, are the unsung heroes of the industry. Despite their indispensable role, they often remain unrecognized and undervalued. This lack of recognition isn't just an oversight—it's a systemic issue with far-reaching socio-economic impacts.
