District Support Center
Nacogdoches ISD purchased the former Burke building, located along Klein Drive near Nacodoches Medical Center. The building is being renovated to serve as the district's administration building, or District Support Center. The facility will house many of the district's administrative offices, including Human Resources, Teaching and Learning, Communications, the Business Office and the Superintendent's offices.

The conversion of the former Burke building is nearly complete. The facility is expected to open in the coming months as Nacogdoches ISD's District Support Center. The renovated facility will greatly increase the amount of meeting and training space available to the district. Work continues as crews finish up technology-related installations around the building.
Interior renovation proceeds at new DSC building
Interior renovation of the former Burke Building located along Klein Drive continues to proceed. Painters are progressing through the facility, while new cabinets and shelving are beginning to appear. Also, additional work outdoors is underway. Cement was poured for a new drive that wraps around the backside of the building.

The future District Support Center received a new roof this week as renovation of the facility continues. The building is the former Burke center located on Klein Drive near Nacogdoches Medical Center. Once completed, the building will serve as the main administration facility for Nacogdoches ISD. In addition to the new roof, work continues inside the building, which is receiving fresh coats of paint, new ceiling tiles and flooring.

Construction begins on District Support Center renovation

Renovation of the former Burke building is underway. The facility will serve as the new District Support Center for Nacogdoches ISD, a project funded by a bond approved by voters in 2018.
Crews on hand at the future DSC include electricians, flooring and heating and air conditioning contractors.
The building is located along NE Stallings Drive near Nacogdoches Medical Center. The total cost of the renovation project is $2,293,875 and was approved in April by the NISD Board of Trustees.
