A semester course designed to help students develop knowledge in color the formal elements and principles of Art. Colored pencil, collage, ceramics and tempera paint are among the media explored. Students will also have a grasp of basic Art Movements in history. Participation is graded during periodic critiques of student work. This class emphasizes craftsmanship! Success in this class does not rely on talent but rather effort and craftsmanship skills. FEE: $10 per semester
Beginning Sculpture ART141

A semester course which explores the fundamentals of sculpture. The class will begin with the history of sculpture and allow students to better understand sculptures many purposes. The majority of the class is dedicated to beginning sculpture and learning to work with clay as well as pottery construction. Students are required to participate in critiques of student work.
