Your administrative contact will get you information. you will meet your mentor during the New Educator Academy - but please try to meet with them sooner and start that effective relationship - select here for the current Mentor Handbook (this is being dated and edited) - Make sure to work with your mentor and principal to understand hoe the District utilizes the Educator Effectiveness process.

New Educator Academy

Thursday, August 22th, 2019 - 8:00am - New District Meeting Room at FLC

This day will be divided in to to sections - the morning will be a meeting with District personal and a introduction and presentation of our District's Strategic Plan of Practice , Strengths, Servant Leadership, the First Penguin Concept, the Happiness Advantage and the Educator Effectiveness process. We have new educators coming in to our District with various years of service and directly out of University/College training - this day will be dedicated to get explaining the "Oriole Way" and helping everyone get acclimated so we can all focus on the number one commodity - our kids!

During this time we will also share information about the Happiness Factor, Cane's Arcade and Motivation - Daniel Pink.

Lunch will be provided with your mentors and then the afternoon will be for you in your buildings with your mentors.
