Hello Oriole Nation! My name is Rachel Polacek and I am so excited to join everyone next year as the psychologist at FLC! I spent my undergrad years at UW-Madison and got my masters specialist degree at UW-LaCrosse. I have been a psychologist for over 16 years (all of my time in Fond du lac). While I am going to miss my colleagues and students, I am excited to embrace my vulnerability and start anew in a new district with new colleagues and students.

I live in Fond du lac with my family (husband Scott, my three kids- Sophie (13), Sam (9) and Lola (3) and our springer spaniel Josie). My personal heroes are Brene Brown and Ross Greene. . .and you may hear me "geeking out" over their work on occasion. Their work has had a profound impact on my professional life over the past couple year in my work with both grown ups and kids. I look forward to meeting all of you and selfishly to having my very own office (I haven't ever had my own office space in my career). I hope all of you have a wonderful summer full of adventures and much needed down time!
