Hi everyone! My name is Erin Carter and I am a graduate student in the professional counseling program at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I am excited to be the counseling intern this fall at Horace Mann! In addition to being a student, I am a married mother of four. My children age in range from 5 to 19. As a family we enjoy camping in our travel trailer-or glamping as some call it-😉, and beach vacations. My husband Shane and I love to travel and enjoy live music. To combine both loves we are excited to celebrate our 15-year wedding anniversary in Nashville in August 2019! My main focuses are what I like to call the 4 F’s- faith, family, friends and food! I enjoy cooking healthy meals for my family as well as fitness classes and running. This September Shane and I are running our first terrain style race. I also am a print and commercial model with The Rock in Madison and a sales representative for ZYIA-a fitness clothing brand. During my free time I love reading and relaxing in the sun. I am really looking forward to working with and being a part of the staff, as well as getting to know the students at Horace Mann.
