About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial self-starter to support the Client’s platform as a Speaker Success Manager. This role goes beyond administrative support, requiring someone eager to learn the professional speaking industry, study the meetings and events space, and skillfully market and sell a top professional speaker.
The right candidate is proactive, resourceful, and committed to excellence—able to manage pipelines, research and pitch high-value speaking opportunities, and strategically expand visibility and revenue. Every effort should reflect professionalism, growth, and world-class quality.
Key Responsibilities
Industry Mastery & Learning
● Commit to becoming a student of the professional speaking and meetings industry.
● Learn how to market, pitch, and sell a top-level professional speaker.
● Continuously apply insights from the speaking industry to help the Client stand out as the go-to Peak Performance Expert.
Tech & Software Integration
● Learn the eSpeakers software platform and ensure it is always updated and accurate.
● Manage leads and data from Talkadot, integrating them seamlessly with SpeakerFlow (Zoho-powered CRM for speakers).
● Maintain accuracy and synergy across all tech platforms to streamline lead flow and reporting.
Lead Generation, Outreach & Pitching
● Call, email, and text B2B and B2C clients captured from live speaking events to nurture follow-up opportunities.
● Consistently pitch the Client for high-dollar, high-visibility, revenue-generating speaking engagements.
● Conduct 20–30 new pitches per week, including customized emails with EPK, speaker one-sheet, promo videos, and curated content.
● Proactively identify corporate, association, university, and nonprofit conferences where the Client’s expertise aligns with their themes and budgets.
● Build and manage a precise database of upcoming conferences/events where the Client can be booked at the current fee.
Pipeline Expansion & City-by-City Leverage
● Once an event is booked in a city, strategically layer additional bookings in that city by:
● Reaching out to meeting planners, bureaus, and corporate clients in the area.
● Inviting them to preview the Client live in action.
● Securing multiple engagements per trip to maximize ROI.
● Assist with planning and promoting pop-up in-person mastermind events in cities where the Client is already booked to speak.
Innovation & Scaling
● Explore and help build an AI-powered bot to assist in sourcing, pitching, and lead nurturing.
Strong research, outreach, and sales/pitching skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems (preferably Zoho/SpeakerFlow) and comfort with integrating multiple tech platforms.
Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
Prior experience in business development, lead generation, or speaking/events industry support preferred.
Ability to work independently while aligning with a high-profile client’s standards.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Availability aligned with U.S. business hours.
Competitive full-time compensation.
Remote work flexibility.
Paid time-off credits.
Observance of major U.S. holidays.
Opportunity to work closely with a Hall of Fame Keynote Speaker.
Professional growth in the speaking, meetings, and events industry.
