Our goal for the 2025-2026 school year is to achieve high academic growth and achievement for ALL student. To achieve this goal, it is crucial to first establish a firm control on behaviors in order to provide an environment conducive to learning. For this reason, we will be taking the first 5 weeks of school to emphasize and explicitly teach and practice our behavioral expectations and the consequences that accompany them, both positive and negative. Each staff member in the building will play a crucial role in this process.
Classroom Teachers-Provide core instruction and daily review of behavioral expectations
Specialists/Sped Teachers-Provide rationale (consequence explanations) for behavioral expectations, instruction on how to apply expectations across settings
Paraprofessionals, Cooks, Custodians-Provide exemplary role modeling of various expectations, explicitly reenforce expectations
Administration and Support Staff-Provide daily announcements to guide instruction, be visible and available to assist staff in teaching, modeling, and reenforcing expectations
