In 2018, the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE) released suggested SEL learning goals that apply across grades K-12 + specific benchmarks for the grade bands of K-3, 4-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Jefferson's SEL components and targets are adapted from this model to meet the needs of our student population.
