Preparing Yourself

By grade 9, students should be ordering and attaining their personal documents for their future.  Proper identification and documents will be required for these activities and more: 

• getting a driver's licence

• getting a job

• NEW:  personal email required grade 9-12 for Ordering your High School Transcripts with MyCreds (August 2024)

• end of high school transfers of information, i.e. myBlueprint

• applying to post-secondary schooling

• applying for scholarships and funding 

• getting a bank account

• getting a loan

• traveling

Create a personal, professional email with your first and last name, or some combination that is acceptable to use on your resume, job applications, scholarships, etc.
