Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13, 1743 in Virginia. When he was a child he enjoyed reading. When he became an adult he married Martha in 1772 and had two kids named Pasty and Maria. Then Martha died in 1782. Tom moved to Williamsburg to attend college. In 1801, he became the 3rd president.Then, he got reelected in 1804. He was an American founding Father and the author of the Declaration of Independence. Tom died on July 4th, 1826 on the same day as John Adams. Marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. He is remembered for being the 3rd president of the United States.
