Edson Also known as Pele was born on October 23,1940. He has one sister named Maria lucia. Pele lived in a small City in Brazil. Peles' friends started calling him Pele in 1949 when he was 9 years old . When he  was younger he was always the best on the soccer team or in another Country known as the futbol team.  When pele had a game his Mom would never go to his games because he would get hurt. Pele had seven Children. In 1955 Pele joined the pro club Santos FC. He served in the Military for one year. In 1917 he played his final game as a professional. Sadly, Pele died on December 29th 2022, he was 82 years old. Pele will always be remembered for being the best soccer player.
