Abraham Lincoln was born on February 12, 1809 in Kentucky. His mom’s name is Nacy, his dad is Thomas,and he has one sister Sarah Lincoln. Abraham was married to Mary and had 3 kids. Lincoln is well known for being honest so people called him Honest Abe. In 1860,he became the 16th president. He was shot in the back of the head by John Wilkes Booth. He died at the age of 56. He always wants to be remembered for his honesty and for helping colored skin people have the same rights as white people. Abraham Lincoln was respectful to his soldiers because he bought blankets for them and pillows,and one of his great achievements is having the life he wanted,  and he was so special that he has his own spot in the Lincoln Memorial. Even when he was young his dad would cut trees with him and Lincoln was not even a teen yet!!  People liked Lincoln but no one really liked his wife but he did not know why.
