Dining Centers

Students may eat at any of the three dining centers. Everyone has a favorite. They are always running different menu items, so there are limitless options to choose from. All dining centers also have DIY grills, and huge salad and sandwich bars to make up anything you crave.

Overall message: NDSU has awesome, delicious food. With three dining centers and unlimited access meal plans, you can always find what you’re craving. Plus, we have a Starbucks and Caribou on campus, and a coffee shop that is included in your meal plan.

meal plans

Meal plan options are unlimited:
- 7-day unlimited ~ 7 guest passes per semester
- 5-day unlimited (Monday-Friday) ~ 3 guest passes per semester
- Unlimited meal plans are nice because you don’t have to worry about tracking your meals, or running out of meals. You can just go in and out as many times as you want. You also get 3 to-go meal per day.
Students who do not live on campus also may purchase a meal plan or a block of meals.

dietary needs

For students who have dietary needs, a dietitian will sit down with those students and form a meal plan.
- All students also have access complete nutritional labels and allergen information for every item served in the dining center via the Dining app or our website.
- Screens in WDC & RDC also mark items that contain any of the top 9 allergens, plus gluten, and dishes that include pork or are vegan or vegetarian

Residence Dining Center (RDC)

The RDC Highlights include:

Creations: A station where you get to “create” your own entrée using that day’s specific items and send it through an oven. .

Bison Beanery: Full-service coffee shop, included in your meal plan.

RDC is connected to Reed-Johnson and Weible via walkways.

UNion Dining Center (UDC)

The UDC is smaller, super cozy, and located in the middle of campus.

West Dining Center (WDC)

The WDC is allergy-friendly dining center – no peanuts or tree nuts in any items serviced in this unit. It’s open 7 days a week, and late nights. Offers Clean Eats—the food station that will provide entrees, side items and desserts free from the top nine allergens and gluten.

ACE Tutoring is located in the lower level of the buildings. WDC is connected to all of the high rises via tunnels. The only dining center open on weekends.
