Thanks to the Cavanaugh Council and President’s Circle, $27.2 million was contributed to financial aid scholarships this academic year impacting 400 undergraduate students.
Financial aid meets 100% of every student’s demonstrated financial need without loans, so students can focus on what truly matters: an exceptional education that will shape them now and in the future. Through the Pathways initiative, a Notre Dame education is now more accessible and affordable, and has led to a:
12% increase in enrolled middle-income students
13.5% increase in Catholic student applications
"Motivated by the University's distinct mission which is animated by its Catholic character, the Cavanaugh Council and President's Circle continues to help Notre Dame address the enduring challenge of access and affordability in higher education, ensuring that a Notre Dame education is within reach for every admitted student who wishes to pursue this formative experience. I am grateful to the Cavanaugh Council and President's Circle members who believe in future generations of Notre Dame leaders and have so generously invested in them."
Micki L. Kidder
Vice President for Undergraduate Enrollment
This year’s Cavanaugh Council and President’s Circle Scholars represent the full breadth and depth of the Notre Dame student experience. They hail from every undergraduate residence hall—both men’s and women’s—and are pursuing learning across all of the University's colleges and professional schools.
