In 2013, the Cavanaugh Council and President’s Circle established a partnership with the Meruelo Family Center for Career Development that has continued to strengthen each year. This partnership has enabled more than 1,600 students to benefit from individualized career paths, industry insights, and personal mentorship from volunteer Cavanaugh Council and President’s Circle members. Through this initiative, mentors offer the wisdom of their own experience, guidance, and networking connections, and set up students up for extraordinary success.
“In the middle of his packed summer, my mentor took the time to meet in person, not to check a box, but to really listen and push me to reflect on the kind of professional, and person, I want to be. That kind of mentorship leaves a lasting mark and reflects the type of transformative experience that you all make possible, where people like my mentor go far beyond guidance to truly shape how you grow.”
