Internship- Commercial Excellence Team- BASF
Therapy Aide- Wake Medical Center
Captain of Intramural Soccer Team
My first experience of being a team member was becoming part of a family (photo to the left was at a DKE gathering prior to football game)
I learned a lot about teamwork in a professional setting at BASF. I gained an understanding of the importance of appreciating other people's work styles, focusing on team goals, and celebrating the success of my peers and coworkers.
Performing the duties of a Physical Therapy Aide requires teamwork skills. Under the direction of the Physical Therapist, I assisted in the planning and implementing of rehabilitation programs. My job tasks involved cooperation and collaboration which were some of the many professional imperative to being effective in this position.
Being a Captain of the intramural soccer team gave me the opportunity to get to know the players and set an example of hard work and positivity. A team sport is all about being a team member! I took the responsibility seriously and acted in a manner that guided the team toward performing their best on and off the field.
