Critical Thinking

Working as a Physical Therapy Aide at Wake Medical Center forced me into situations in which critical thinking was necessary to resolve the issue. When working in a hospital environment, it is not uncommon for something to go wrong with a patient. There were many occasions when a patient felt uncomfortable in their situation or refused to follow instructions from the therapist. I helped patients overcome their issues and motivated them about exercising. This opportunity contributed massively to my growth and ability to apply critical thinking in difficult circumstances.
