7 Habits Model

Dependence

We all start off in the dependence stage of the 7 Habits model. In this stage, are are dependent on others to support our social emotional state.

Independence

After we have successfully mastered the first 3 habits we move into the independence stage. When mastering the first 3 habits we look at those as private victories. Each habit is a personal victory at being in control of ourselves.

Interdependence

Once we have mastered all but the last habit (which will continually be on-going) we have accomplished the public victories and have become interdependent. When we are interdependent we not only can support ourselves but others in their social emotional wellbeing.
