Project 10: Transition Education Network is a State of Florida Department of Education and Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services Discretionary Project that provides transition-related information, planning resources, training and technical assistance to relevant stakeholders. The complimentary service helps educators, schools, school districts, students and families support students with disabilities transition successfully from school to post-school environments.

Since 1925, Florida Department of Education, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is the state agency that helps people with physical and mental disabilities prepare for, get, advance in or keep a job.

The Agency for Persons with Disabilities Supports Persons with Developmental Disabilities in Living, Learning, and Working in their Communities. APD works in partnership with local communities and private providers to assist people who have developmental disabilities and their families. APD provides assistance in identifying the needs of people with developmental disabilities for supports and services and offers a wide range of social, medical, residential, and behavioral services. Services provided are based on need and coverage criteria, so not all individuals receive all services. The agency serves more than 50,000 Floridians with the following disabilities:
· People severely impaired by autism · Cerebral palsy · Spina bifida · Intellectual disabilities · Down syndrome · Prader-Willi syndrome · Phelan-McDermid syndrome · Children age 3-5 who are at a high risk of a developmental disability

The Office of Disability Support Services (DSS) at Seminole State offers College constituents equity and excellence in education. By working with students, faculty and staff on all Seminole State campuses, DSS ensures that appropriate academic adjustments are made to give all students equal opportunities inside the classroom and around campus.
