Project SEARCH is our post high school employment training program for students desiring to become competitively employed. Participants are Seminole County Public School graduates having earned, but deferred receipt of a Standard Diploma—Access Points and are between the ages of 18—21 with developmental or intellectual disabilities and are on an Individual Education Plan (IEP).
Project SEARCH places our students in internships at a Seminole County business site (Advent Health and the Hilton both in Altamonte Springs) where they receive intense employment training and hands-on experience under the guidance of a teacher and job coach. The goal is to eventually secure employment.
