Session One – 9:15 A.M.

Project 10: Transition Education Network

Project 10: Transition Education Network is a special project funded by the Department of Education and Bureau of Exceptional Student Education to promote effective transition planning practices and provide resources, training, and technical assistance in the area of secondary transition services for youth with disabilities. Project 10 supports key stakeholders, including school districts, parents and families, students, and other relevant transition partners.


Session Two – 10:00 A.M.

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR)

​​Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a federal-state program that helps people who have physical or mental disabilities get or keep a job. VR is committed to helping people with disabilities find meaningful careers.


Session Three – 10:45 A.M.

Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD)

APD works with local organizations and private providers to support people who have developmental disabilities and their families in living, learning, and working in their communities. APD identifies the service needs of people with developmental disabilities, and those individuals may receive social, medical, behavioral, residential, and/or therapeutic services.


Session Four– 11:30 A.M.

Guardianship and Guardianship Advocacy

The presentation by Davey Law Group provides information to anyone seeking assistance in navigating the legal process in regards to guardian advocacy and related topics for individuals who are disabled.
