School counselors support students’ academic success in a variety of ways. We work with administration, teachers, and other school staff to create a school environment encouraging students to strive to their potential. We also work to remove barriers to access and provide students with the opportunity to be challenged in the most rigorous coursework possible.
Goal setting can be an integral part of a student's academic success. Getting motivated helps to build self-efficacy and provides direction. Setting goals will put student's back in control of their future and gives them a sense of purpose in life.

Do write things down.
Do use a weekly planner or calendar to keep your due dates organized.
Do organize your notes and to-do list.
Do remember to submit work before the deadline.
Be punctual.
Do take breaks.
Exercise, eat healthy, and get enough sleep.
